Bio

Dr. Jim Bio

I have had the pleasure to work for local family businesses, regional food-service distribution companies, to a global telecommunications business. I have held positions in Leadership, Project Management, Sales Management, Entrepreneurship, and now as a full-time Professor.

As part of my doctoral research, I launched a three year field study that helped nearly 150 local businesses get online. The purpose for this field study was to provide the knowledge and tools to help traditional business owners develop their digital brand.

The study was designed to meet with business owners on a weekly basis and provide step-by-step training objectives and project management tactics to create digital content, business websites, social media platforms, and ecommerce solutions. The effect of training and system experience proved to be a critical component for successfully implanting these change management processes.
