Project feedback
As I wrote in my report: Being the Hart House Hip-Hop Community Connector has been an amazing experience. To serve in this role has been life-giving, and I have learned so much in such a short time. I am so glad that Zoe Dille and Marco Adamovic chose me to serve in this role. It has been a dream for me to work with the Hart House Hip-Hop Education team ever since I was a part of their Humanz of Hip-Hop event. The main thing that stands out about this team is their ability to think outside the box and imagine and reimagine Hip-Hop as an educational tool within academic institutions to build community among students. I do not want this role to end because I feel like I have a lot more to learn, more people and organizations to build community with, and more workshops and classes to create for the U of T student community and beyond.

Get Crafty! Creative Program Assistant- Hart House

Get Crafty! is a series of free weekly drop-in craft workshops that happen from September to April. Students from all three U of T campuses are invited to join our weekly sessions, with all tools and materials provided, free of charge. It is an opportunity to take a break, meet other students, connect with the facilitators, and try new crafts and art projects. The goal of Get Crafty! is to promote wellness, alleviate stress, make friends, learn through practice (and failures!) all while inviting creativity and play. The main goal for this project is to create a suite of lesson plans and prototypes for each project that will act as a guide our student facilitators. Good quality documentary images will also be generated for use on social media. Check out our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/harthousegetcrafty/
