It teaches how to facilitate, adapt and evaluate therapeutic horticulture activities with individual clients and small groups. It also provides foundational horticulture and safety training and equips practitioners with the skills to facilitate activities with individual clients and small groups.
The main goal is to assist with marketing this course and international community (GrowTH Network- more information on website here: https://rootinnature.ca/), including direct reach-out and formulation of a marketing strategy.
- Develop an understanding of both products (course & GrowTH Community) by gaining access and reviewing them
- Market research on our target market and their interest in this type of course. Our target market for this project is healthcare facilities that engage recreation therapists/ staff and therapists themselves.
- Development of key messaging for this new product that would appeal to this audience
- Determine whether there is a target market that we might be missing
- Develop a digital marketing strategy to reach this target market
- Conduct direct reach-out to this target market in Canada and the US, where appropriate
