Project feedback
It has been a pleasure working with Karen and her team members at the Sturge-Weber foundation again this term. Karen has an amazing gift to connect with the student team members and inspire them to actively participate in a real client project. She always creates a welcoming environment that invites students to student engagement and lines up well with the course design, team strategy, and project management practices.
Over the past several terms, we have developed a special partnership with the Sturge-Weber foundation that has created a win, win, win experience for our students, for this program, and I hope for the Sturge-Weber foundation.
Karen and the team at Sturge-Weber are always actively involved with the student team members and provide the necessary guidance and feedback to ensure a successful project solution. Karen meets with each team in week 2 to provide a detailed overview of her organization and the value they provide to families, medical professionals, and now to our students. The project deliverables provide the students teams with a challenging opportunity to work with a Non-Profit organization and help Karen and her team meet the new challenges associated with a digital world.
It is always a pleasure working with Karen and the Sturge-Weber team and we look forward to working with them again during our Winter term of 2024.
A special thanks to Karen for providing an amazing learning opportunity for our students.
