Curriculum Coordinators for Indigenous Educational Video Library
Digital Human Library (dHL) the International Indigenous Speakers Bureau (IISB) have come together to help elevate Indigenous voices, perspectives and insights in primarily non-Indigenous spaces by offering educational institutions access to IISB Knowledge Nuggets* . Digital Human Library is looking for students in every province and territory who would like to contribute to reconciliation and learn more about Indigenous ways of knowing, doing and being by connecting IISB Knowledge Nuggets (KN) to a Global Curriculum, the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Calls to Action. Indigenous and non-Indigenous students are encouraged to apply. The project will remain open for 1 year with flexible start dates available between January 1 2024 - December 2024. * Knowledge Nuggets are short guided educational video resources intended to assist our education systems with understanding Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, world views, and history and follow a more Indigenous way of teaching and learning. Interdisciplinary Authors
This project will begin in August following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The end-date for the project and deliverable submission deadline is sept 3rd at 11:59 PM MST. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work-initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking 76 (seventy-six) post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be passed-down from the AIC chair during our kick-off meeting. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas.

The AIC is seeking 100 (one hundred) post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting. Participants will produce a finalised deliverable of a minimum 3000-word article. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas.
