Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype

Our non-profit organization would like to explore designing a prototype for a mobile application of our Masjid to help our congregation to be more informed about our activities and the prayer times. We would like a group of students to design a prototype mobile application for this purpose. This will involve: Conduct background research about similar application types. Identify key requirements for the mobile application. Learn and use various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of the application screens' UX / UI prototype of a mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android. Both lo-fi and hi-fi will be required

Mobile App Development

Our non-profit organization would like to explore developing a mobile application for our Masjid to help our congregation be more informed about our activities and prayer times. We want a group of students to develop a mobile application : With the guidance of the UI design, we are going to build the interface on both iOS and Android Use of "Flutter" or "React Native"

Logo Redesign

Our company has been serving thousands of customers for decades. We would like to update and revamp our existing brand as we update our website. We would like to work with students to develop a new logo that aligns with our company’s mission and story while providing an appealing design for users. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s story, mission and vision statements. Brainstorming logo ideas that suit our company and providing justification for each idea. Designing and testing the best logos to garner input. Refining and improving logos based on feedback. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Developing a finalized logo for implementation.

Website UI / UX Design & Prototype

Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website with a prototype. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our members. This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing web applications. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed. Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focused might return the best results in a redesign. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this
