This project aims to develop an online course that equips Canadian high school students with the skills to build a professional LinkedIn profile and leverage the platform for career advancement. We would like to work with students to create engaging, relatable content while offering valuable experiential learning opportunities in educational design and digital media production. Tasks include: Conduct research on LinkedIn best practices and draft engaging course scripts tailored for high school students. Create visually appealing slides, graphics, animations, and edit video content for the course. Test the course with a focus group of students, gather feedback, and refine content based on their input. Develop sample LinkedIn profiles to demonstrate effective setups for various career interests. Assist in creating promotional materials and a plan to connect with high schools and student organizations.
Student Success Online Program Design
Our organization is seeking to develop an interactive online program to help students succeed academically and professionally. We want to create a self-paced program with a number of topics ranging from resume creation to scholarship application writing. We would like to work with students to determine what features and format our target audience would find useful in an online course. Based on this information, students can then recommend what information would be most valuable. Our company is in the process of revamping our services and preparing for an upcoming rebrand. Our current website requires updating to include new services and resources. We would like to collaborate with students to create new pages that help users navigate the site and find up-to-date information. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Identifying and researching useful web pages that can be included on our website. Creating new pages for the website, with our assistance in providing the content. Reviewing and updating old web pages to ensure consistency of information. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending potential upgrades or features that can be included in the website
Where Health Meets Business through Digital Content Creation
Our company provides services for patients, nurses, young professionals and organizations looking to impact change on a personal and professional level. We hope to develop a social media and marketing strategy to reach our target audience. We would like students to help us create content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s services, marketing goals and target market. Researching factors affecting the quality of digital content. Recommending changes to existing digital content and designing new social media posts and emails. Recommending and designing new digital content not already used by our company. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing and improving designs based on feedback.

Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes. Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion); Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our services; design a new/improved pricing or service structure based on market research.
Social Media Strategy including SEO
Our company is looking to create a social media presence to drive traffic to our pages and new website. To do this, we hope to develop engaging content, improve our search engine optimization, and create an optimal schedule for our social media posts to be uploaded. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that clients search for. Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google. Constructing a content calendar to upload social media content for the maximum possible traffic . Creating social media content for LinkedIn and Instagram that fits our brand identity for our target audience while following the content calendar. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Using our company’s social media analytics to tailor the content calendar to our clients activity, rather than general trends
