
Social Media Content Producer ( Remotely) - Level Up Spring 2023
This project could appeal to students in digital marketing programs or media production. TNB Glasses is a Canadian eyewear wholesaler and distributor, also designer and manufacturing our own house brand: Midas. Midas is an exciting Independent Canadian eyewear brand, one of the most exciting, colourful, and fashionable local collections on the market. . We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better messaging for our brand. We would like students to help us with creating entertaining and engaging shareable video content on IG, YouTube and Facebook, and working with our Content Marketing Specialist to create static posts utilizing photography and basic design.. Our ideal team will have great creative acumen and skilled in storytelling and production with an appetite for experimentation. In addition, the ideal team will have a ‘creator’ mindset, and keep up-to-date on social media content trends and will most importantly be idea-driven.

We would like students to help us with developing and launch a social media and branding strategy to break and grow Midas on social media Our ideal team will have great creative acumen and skilled in storytelling with an appetite for experimentation. In addition, the ideal team will have a ‘creator’ mindset, and keep up-to-date on social media content trends and will most importantly be idea-driven.

Brand Identity and Graphic Design
Our company is looking to solidify our identity and revamp the logo that we currently have. We are looking to better connect with our audience by standing out and being memorable while also being able to use the designs the students offer in a corporate setting. We are looking for real designs that we could use in our branding as well as general branding knowledge. The right candidate would work to create consistent promotional branding and come up with possible new names for the company. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching the brand identity. Logo and name proposals that reflect who we are Work to create a branding guide for us to reference Help create prototypes using software tools that can be implemented in our marketing Research into the competitors to see what they are doing. Creating custom branding sheets with colours and logos.

Research & Writer/Journalist for Local Media Company
Research and write 4 to 5 stories based on assigned topics during the project Work with the publisher and director to research and create content for Spinning Forward's online presence (website, newsletter, and social media) Attend a weekly meeting with the team to give updates on your progress Research assign topics for stories and organize information with headings and sections. Research local experts and find contact information that we may interview in the Toronto region Produce at least 4 or 5 stories during the project by following good time management skills and deadlines Research and monitor content creators and influencers on social media in the Toronto region. Strong curiosity, listening, and problem-solving skills Research, organize, rewrite, fact-check, and submit edits for stories on a deadline Learn about the Toronto region and what makes it work and not work for young people Note: We highly value lived experiences and strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don’t believe you meet every one of the qualifications described.
