A pending imbalance of talent supply and demand is approaching and a strategy needs to be developed to support attracting talent to our company. The outlook of the energy sector workforce is that there will be shortages of skilled workers due to a few issues including the aging of the workforce coupled with less interest due to the negative narrative of the industry's future.
We would like to collaborate with students to create a talent attraction strategy for Pieridae Energy to support increasing interest and job applicants for our company.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- A wholistic talent attraction and recruitment strategy to generate interest and talent from diverse backgrounds to Pieridae Energy.
- The key drivers to attracting diverse candidates to working in a natural gas production company/energy sector
Final deliverables should include
- A final report.
- A presentation.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our company mission, vision and values
- Current recruitment strategy
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
