Students can contribute in a variety of ways. Students, individually or in groups, can be involved in a wide range of tasks and/or projects depending on the skills and competencies they have developed in their undergraduate studies so far. See students’ skills and competencies below.
- Students can take and complete work-based activities online/remotely Mon through Fri.
All placements must be completed by the end of April 2025, as students will be assessed in May based on their full work experience.
NB Students may not be available for work-based learning activities when they are attending classes or working in paid jobs.
Students can undertake work-based activities either online/remotely or in person, depending what suits both the organisation and the student:
- 30 hours (flexible scheduling to accommodate the organisation and students’ scheduled studies)
- The work-based activities window is between January and the end of April 2025.*
NB. Please note that during the Easter break [from 25th March to 7th April] students might not be available for work.
We greatly appreciate organisations that can provide:
- Work-based opportunities for vocational learning and development for our students
- Clear and well-defined projects or roles with specific outcomes and expectations
- Professional communication, briefing and guidance for students during placements
