Accounting and Finance

This experience is designed for learners who have a foundational understanding of accounting and finance and are eager to apply their knowledge to real-world business scenarios. Participants will analyze financial data, explore the impact of financial decisions on business operations, and navigate the rapidly changing business environment. By engaging with industry projects, learners will develop practical solutions to contemporary accounting and finance challenges, preparing them for professional roles in the field. Students will be working independently and will have input into the selection of the projects and companies they engage with. While every effort will be made to align student interests with project needs, specific project selection cannot be guaranteed. Students will coordinate directly with industry partners to determine appropriate start and end dates for their placements and may opt to begin their work-integrated learning experience immediately.
Cyber Security: Digital Signatures and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

This experience focuses on the practical application of digital signatures within the framework of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of how digital signatures function, their implementation, and their role in secure communications. By engaging with real-world projects, learners will apply their knowledge to design, analyze, and improve digital signature systems, ensuring secure and authenticated digital transactions. This experience is ideal for industry professionals seeking innovative solutions to enhance security protocols. We are inviting organizations to collaborate with students during the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 terms. In Fall 2025, students will engage in individual projects, while Winter 2026 will focus on team-based work. Please note: The Fall 2025 experience is an optional assignment for students. While we make every effort to align student interests with your project needs, we cannot guarantee project selection. Final confirmation of participating students will be provided by early September 2025.

Our clinic builds on a long-standing connection between the University and London’s Voluntary, community Social Enterprise Sector (VCSC) – as well as significant current research and consultancy expertise. We also have a dynamic portfolio of courses associated with community development and social enterprise, Through the clinic, your organisation can connect with our students, who are engaged across a wide range of practice-based modules, including areas such as community development, digital communications, media production and branding. Alway keen to gain experience and make an impact, our hard-working, connected and informed students, supervised by one of London Met’s academic tutors, can work though the clinic to help you develop your organisation.
