Bio

I am completing a double major in French and English at York University. I have added English to my degree per the advice of the Chair of the English Department, Igor Djordjevic, for my proficiency in the subject. I am presently writing an article for the ProTem Journal entitled Hairy Women: Detangling Hair Politics. I aim to pursue a Masters in Publishing at Simon Fraser which will be an invaluable asset in my personal and professional toolbox.
With the help of the Wordswell Community Centre, I have been able to teach analphabetic youth in my community how to communicate through speaking, reading, and writing. My position at McDonald’s has taught me administrative and problem-solving skills through experience and SLF courses.
I am always looking to learn and develop. I believe that the Riipen internships are the perfect opportunity for me to do just that. As I am dedicated to making any place I work at better than it was before I got there, I aim to bring with me something valuable.
