Accelerators Group - Researching Different Social Media Challenges and Events
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The team must research and create social media events and challenges that promote a social presence and outreach to a targeted audience. The events and challenges must revolve around easy to follow and accomplish challenges while also using the "follow" feature as a requirement to participate. The categories for the challenges must be business related such as: favourite entrepreneurship book, answering trivia questions, favourite small business that the audience uses. The reward could be as small as a shout-out or as large as free books and e-books. FINAL DELIVERABLES: Researching Social Media Event Ideas This deliverable will task students on researching social media contents for different social platforms. This will including finding the best form of events and challenges to get maximum reach for free and create viral marketing. Example: Creating a social media challenge within the business category while using polls on Twitter, story highlights in Instagram, the share feature on Facebook, or using TikTok Audios for challenges. Creating Social Media Events Drafts Once there is enough data to create a draft, the student will be tasked with creating an action plan on how the event/challenge will work, dates & deadlines, requirements, and rewards.
