SunCo CRM & Project Management Enhancement - Phase III
SunCo Sunspaces Inc. is seeking to enhance its existing customized CRM and Project Management software package to better meet the needs of its growing business. The current system lacks certain functionalities that are crucial for streamlining operations and improving customer interactions. The goal of this project is to identify and implement key features that will enhance user experience and operational efficiency. The project will involve analyzing the current software, gathering user feedback, and proposing improvements. Learners will apply their knowledge of software development and project management to design and implement these enhancements. The project is designed to be completed by a team of students from a software engineering program, focusing on practical application of their skills in a real-world scenario.
Phase 1: Custom C.R.M. requires software development using PHP programming
We have an existing custom CRM platformed programmed using PHP coding. We require the platform to be updated with additional features including new pages, dashboards, reports, as well as changing existing features such as drop down menus, text, and form validation. The original software organizer, the secondary developer, are available and able to assist the student with learning the program and code.

Building Information Modeling for a Sunroom and Deck Construction Company
We are looking to invest in new Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. We require a system with a process that creates intelligent 3D modeling for our sunroom and deck designs. The software needs to integrate the entire lifecycle of a project from planning, design, building, operation and maintenance. We would like for students to help us research and choose the most ideal software to invest in. Our company has too many separate software systems in play. We need to find a program that can accomplish it all (or at least most of our needs in a project lifecycle of our products, preferably including accounting.) We need a program that can easily build 3D models of both sunroom and decks along with creating lumber and part lists, having the ability to break down project scheduling/management as well as an inventory system. Students should be prepared to: Conduct a needs analysis. Research available options and feedback Evaluate the options within the context of our budget, immediate needs, and projected needs. Provide a report with a final recommendation and explanation.
