We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that will help us secure funding for improving our local theatre program. I am hoping to find a student who could do research in seeing which grants may be available and then writing the applications on our behalf with our support. We believe this project will include: Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project. Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding. Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project. Interpret a request for proposal (RFP). Create clear and persuasive proposals for funding.

During the Fall 2021 term, students from MacEwan's ethnographic methods class conducted and analyzed interviews with a key stakeholder working at the City of Edmonton. LevelUP - Research Assistant - Linguistic Landscape Project
The research assistants will support the research initiatives under the guidance of research faculty. Research assistants will contribute to a linguistic anthropology research project that will assess the presence of Indigenous languages within the linguistic landscape of Edmonton, primarily in central areas of the city, and also will involve literature review on related topics.

Research Assistant for a Career Accelerator
Number of individual students required: 4 Students at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to work with us on conducting and analyzing research the experiences of Black, Indigenous and racialized women, developing infographics, social media assets and contributing to our impact reporting process. The student will be exposed to a variety of skills and experiences to enhance their knowledge of primary and secondary critical thinking and analysis, research methodology, survey design, design thinking, and written communication. Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.
Case Management: Complex care coordination of clients accessing services for complex issues.
This study has been initiated by our team in collaboration with the The Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers (EMCN), a community agency that supports immigrants and refugees in Edmonton through its programs and services. We are completing a needs assessment to support the agency with the development of a case management model for clients accessing service.
