Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting - Cyber Security Assessment
The main goal of this project is to plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting's data, systems and networks. Even though, the organization is a very small business, there may be hidden security issues that need to be revealed in the use of technology, third party platforms and integration of client and contractor systems. The goal is to gain clarity on security risks and a risk mitigation plan that is effective and at the same time can be implemented in a small 1-person consulting business.
Technology Review and Upgrade for Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting Inc.
The goal of this project is to review and upgrade the technology used by Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting Inc. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Analyzing the current technology used by the company. Researching and evaluating new technologies that could be used to improve the company's performance and have positive impact on the budgeting line of subscriptions. Developing and document a plan for implementing the new technologies and/or technology replacement. Supporting the implementation process and testing the new technologies to ensure they are working properly. Creating documentation and training materials for the new technologies.
Evaluating the Transition to a Partnership Model for Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting Inc.
Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting Inc is a small consulting firm based in BC, Canada. The owner is considering to bring on partner(s) into the business to allow for growth, business continuity and longevity. Eventually, the owner may pass full ownership to the partners as part of the exist strategy for the shareholder. The goal of this project is to identify the pros and cons and areas of consideration to move Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting Inc. from an incorporated company that is owned 100% by a HoldCo to a partnership model. This will involve researching and evaluating the implications of the transition in terms of brand strategy, legal set-up, compensation strategies, ownership transition, and other areas that need to be considered. Additionally, the project should also include an analysis of the time and resources required to complete the transition as well as who needs to be involved in the process.
Content strategy and multi-channel content delivery project
Petra Mayer & Associates Consulting has had substantial success in its marketing strategy by focussing on SEO-based content strategy for website and LinkedIn. In order to continue in the same way, we want to develop a multi-dimensional content project that includes a downloadable paper with relevant blog articles, LinkedIn posts and YouTube video content. Together with the students we will define the content topics, identify required research, write the white paper and respective articles keeping in mind the SEO strategy behind the content. In an ideal case scenario. we would be identifying supporting interview subjects. I will conduct the interviews and create recordings for the website and small video snippets for social media. Research subject matter, write multi-page report and edit the report using Canva, create 3 blog articles on the same content, coordinate interviews and edit video content using pre-existing templates.
