Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Langara Colleg e to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program/experience Identify the indigenous, European and African roots of contemporary Latin American cultural expressions. Identify themes arising from a selection of cultural topics and expressions. Compare and contrast cultural expressions in Latin America to cultural expressions in other parts of the world. Apply concepts from theories in cultural studies to critically discuss a variety of popular cultural expressions in Latin America and the world. Find reliable sources and present their research findings in a multi-modal format. Create a e-portfolio page in Pebblepad akin to a web page/ exhibit or blog.
