No skills listedThe goal of this project is to help FounderNow's hiring manager vet resumes and screen for the right talent, conduct initial phone calls with candidates, and help schedule and take part in interviews and advise on final hiring decisions.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Understanding of the company's hiring process and criteria
- Ability to effectively vet resumes and screen for the right talent
- Ability to conduct initial phone calls with candidates
- Ability to help schedule and take part in interviews
- Ability to advise on final hiring decisions
Final deliverables should include:
A timesheet and an excel file detailing the number of resumes screened, the number of candidates interviewed by phone, the number of candidates interviewed in person, and the number of candidates hired based on their suggestions. The manager in charge of the project will sign off on the time sheet.
The student will have weekly one on one meetings with their supervisor. They will receive constructive criticism, praise for what they are doing well, and be given instruction on how to improve. Their manager will also be available for any of their questions through Slack at any time.

We are addressing a gap between one-dimensional, cookie cutter answers that can be found online and the need for quality, personalized answers that can only be accomplished with real human interaction.
