The main goal for the project is to analyze the potential expansion of FounderNow into the United States with the current service. This will involve several different steps for the team, including:


- Conducting an in-depth analysis of which states would be best to launch in based on market demand, competition, and regulatory environment.


- Identifying potential obstacles that FounderNow might face in the expansion process and developing strategies to overcome them.


- Researching and understanding the regulations and compliance requirements in the United States that FounderNow needs to be careful about.


Deliverables


By the end of the project, the team should complete the following tasks:


- A report on the analysis of potential states for expansion, including market demand, competition, and regulatory environment.


- Strategies to overcome potential obstacles identified in the expansion process.


- A detailed overview of the regulations and compliance requirements in the United States that FounderNow needs to consider.



Final deliverables should include:


- A report summarizing the findings and recommendations for expansion into the United States.


Mentorship

The students will be shown how to approach data collection and analysis, as well as common pitfalls companies run into when expanding to a new country, before starting work on this project, and their work will be frequently checked to make sure they are following all guidelines to gather unbiased data and to make sure they are analyzing the data they gather correctly. The student will also have weekly one on one meetings with their supervisor for this project. They will receive constructive criticism, praise for what they are doing well, and be given instruction on how to improve. Their manager will also be available for any of their questions through Slack at any time.
