nuclear fuel regulatory frameworks consulting nuclear reactor market research research
Details

With the increasing demand for reliable low-carbon energy solutions, the widespread deployment of Small Modular Nuclear Reactors (SMRs) is anticipated worldwide. As a result, our group of companies is actively expanding its consulting services within the nuclear industry.

One of the pivotal challenges we are currently addressing pertains to the safe transportation of nuclear fuel and waste. Our objective is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing practices and regulatory frameworks governing this aspect.

To achieve this, we are seeking to collaborate with students who can assist us in conducting market research.

Deliverables

The research project will encompass various steps, including:

  1. Thoroughly comprehending the regulations governing the transportation of nuclear materials in both the United States and Canada
  2. Mapping and providing detailed descriptions of the entire transportation process, from inception to delivery
  3. Compiling a comprehensive list of vendors specializing in nuclear material transportation

Bonus steps:

  1. Creating detailed vendor profiles that offer valuable insights into their capabilities and track records

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report
  • A presentation
