Since podcasts are becoming an increasingly popular content medium, our company hopes to capitalize on this with our won.


The primary objective of this project is to enhance the online presence and audience engagement of, New Frontier: The AI for ecommerce podcast creating captivating one-minute clips specifically tailored for social media platforms. These clips are designed to showcase key insights and intriguing discussions from the podcast, ultimately driving interest and attracting a broader listener base to the full episodes available on Spotify

Deliverables
  1. Content Selection:
  • Task 1.1: Listen to each episode and identify key moments that are insightful, engaging, or particularly relevant to AI in ecommerce.
  • Task 1.2: Select segments that are suitable for a one-minute format, focusing on parts that can stand alone and make sense out of context.

2. Audio Editing:

  • Task 2.1: Extract the chosen audio segments from the episodes using audio editing software.
  • Task 2.2: Enhance audio quality if necessary, adjusting levels and removing any background noise.

3. Visual Element Creation:

  • Task 3.1: Design static or dynamic visuals to accompany the audio. This could include speaker photos, podcast logos, relevant images, or animated text.
  • Task 3.2: Sync the visuals with the audio clips, ensuring the visuals complement and enhance the spoken content.

4. Subtitles and Captions:

  • Task 4.1: Transcribe the audio for subtitles, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Task 4.2: Add subtitles to the video, optimizing for readability on small screens.

5. Branding and Consistency:

  • Task 5.1: Incorporate the podcast's branding elements (like logos and color schemes) into each clip.
  • Task 5.2: Ensure a consistent look and feel across all clips to maintain brand identity.

6. Compliance and Quality Check:

  • Task 6.1: Review the final clips for compliance with the platform-specific guidelines (e.g., aspect ratios, duration).
  • Task 6.2: Conduct a quality check for technical issues like audio levels, video resolution, and subtitle synchronization.

7. Social Media Optimization:

  • Task 7.1: Write engaging captions for each clip, incorporating relevant hashtags and call-to-actions.
  • Task 7.2: Schedule or post the clips on various social media platforms (like Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) at optimal times.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • What general topics do we hope to cover?
  • Are there any staff or professionals related to our company that we want to have as a guest on our podcast?
  • How will we promote our brand and products/services each episode while still creating something that customers are interested in listening to?
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
