Systema365, Inc. is looking to modernize the capabilities of ad-hoc reporting of Dynamics Business Central to productize a 3rd party reporting package using python, javascript, html and css. This project will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Analyzing existing Dynamics Business Central data and reports.


- Developing a reporting package using python, javascript, html and css.


- Optimizing software runtime performance and assessing areas for improvement.


- Researching other variables that can improve the quality of reports.


- Accounting for additional variables in the reporting package.


- Testing the developed software and making improvements based on additional data.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of existing Dynamics Business Central data and reports.


- Understanding of variables that affect the quality of reports.


- Identification of areas for future improvement of the software.


Bonus steps would include:


- Testing the developed software with users and accounting for additional parameters.


Final deliverables should include:


- All source code.


- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.
