We would like to collaborate with students to create a strategic information technology (IT) plan based on a needs assessment.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing yourself with our mission and vision statements.
• Completing a needs assessment.
• Recommending processes for training and implementation of an IT plan.
• Project management of IT initiatives

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of our mission and vision statements
• Understanding of industry / competitor IT trends and capabilities
• Recommendations for hardware, software, and IT human resources
• Recommendations for possible training and implementation processes
• A final report.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our mission and vision statements
• Our current IT services
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

Additionally, we will be able to provide support and mentorship, from two experienced IT professionals.
