Do you have a leadership challenge in educations you want to tackle? In this project, students will conduct research and develop an actionable strategy and make recommendations to solve a educations leadership challenge faced by your organization, stakeholders, and/or clients.

The students in this course are Master's level Educational Leadership students, bound for roles as school principals. These students have experience as teachers, and all students go through a background check before being enrolled in this course.

The final project deliverables might include:

  1. 10-15 minute presentation of key findings and recommendations.
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights, and recommendations.

Project Examples

Beginning in September, masters students will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.

Project activities might include but are not limited to:

  • Outlining different approaches on how to effectively staff a K-12 school, emphasizing the importance and process of recruitment, selection, and termination.
  • Examining the different strategies and workings of developing an effective school schedule.
  • Examining different communication strategies to communicate in the workplace.
  • Examining different communication strategies to communicate with external publics.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone/virtual calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Provide relevant information/data as needed for the project.
