Beginning in September, masters students will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.

Project activities might include but are not limited to:

• Explaining the concepts of leadership, describe leadership skills, leadership styles, and the power of resonant leadership.
• Discussing the importance of knowing one’s strengths and limitations, and identify tools necessary for developing increased self-awareness that can also help to establish a “scientist identity”.
• Recognizing the power of mentors and role models.
• Integrating leadership ability, critical thinking, self-awareness, and effective communication skills using approaches driven by emotional intelligence.
• Outlining a leadership style that can be clearly articulated, continuously improved, adapted to change and used to excel, especially as a scientist.
• Applying concepts of global competence to collaborative problem-solving.
