Bring on learners from University of North Dakota to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Learners in this program are poised to succeed in the integrated work areas of energy management. Amidst the escalating uncertainty in the energy sector, characterized by fluctuating oil prices, surging energy demand, and escalating CO2 emissions fueling global warming, the imperative of sustainable energy use becomes evident. It is crucial for businesses, government entities, and individuals to prioritize the sustainable utilization of energy resources, necessitating efficient management guided by global policymakers' strategic policies.
Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization.
Some final project deliverables might include:
- A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Project Examples
Possible projects across diverse industries addressing climate change mitigation and adaptation/resilience include:
- Assessment of energy resource availability
- Evaluation of existing policies guiding energy resource development (Political and/or policy-related projects)
- Examination of the status of current technologies (Investigation of new technology, software, etc.)
- Analysis of energy efficiency options
- Support for the development of energy projects and technological advancements
- Educational initiatives
- Analysis of global climate issues and regional conflict effects

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.
