This high-fidelity prototype will serve as the foundation for implementing significant design enhancements into the front-end of our website, Ada Analytics. Our objective is to create an intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing user interface that enhances the overall user experience.
What is the problem your company is trying to solve by having this work done? What are your criteria for success?
The problem we aim to solve is the optimization of our user interface and user experience. By converting the low-fidelity prototype into a high-fidelity version, we intend to address usability issues, streamline user flows, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of our platform. Success for this project will be determined by:
- Improved User Experience: Users should find it easier to navigate and interact with our platform, resulting in higher user satisfaction.
- Enhanced Visual Design: The high-fidelity prototype should exhibit a visually appealing and cohesive design that aligns with our brand identity.
- Streamlined User Flows: User flows should be optimized to minimize friction and improve task completion rates.
- Positive User Feedback: Gathering user feedback on the high-fidelity prototype that indicates improved usability and design aesthetics.
- Project Plan: Identify milestones and set a timeline for the project.
- Review Requirements and Existing Designs: Familiarize themselves with the low-fidelity prototype developed with Springboard, understand existing requirements, design work, and feedback. Identify gaps in the design that need improvement in the high-fidelity version.
- Conduct Design Audit: Perform a comprehensive audit of the current user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Competitive Research: Analyze direct or indirect competitors' design strengths and weaknesses, providing actionable recommendations for our own design.
- User Research: Develop research plans, screener surveys, conduct user interviews, and/or create personas to gain a deeper understanding of our users and their needs.
- Usability Testing: Summarize key findings and recommendations from usability testing sessions or document testing sessions to understand user interactions and experiences.
- Redesign and Prototype: Propose redesigns for distinct user types and workshop ideas into wireframes or mockups that illustrate how the solutions could function. Create a high-fidelity prototype in Figma for testing and validation.
In order to support learners effectively in completing this project, we will:
- Prepare Resources: Provide any relevant resources and assets needed for the project in advance of the kick-off call.
- Weekly Check-In Calls: Maintain regular weekly check-in calls to discuss progress, address questions, and ensure that the project remains on track.
- Responsive Communication: Be reasonably responsive throughout the collaboration to ensure that learners do not encounter any roadblocks during the project.
- Job Search Materials: Allow learners to showcase the work they contribute to our project in their job search materials, such as portfolios or resumes.
- Access to Platform: Grant access to the Ada Analytics platform to facilitate a deeper understanding of our product.
By offering these forms of support, we aim to create a collaborative and productive environment for the learners, enabling them to deliver high-quality design enhancements for our platform.
