Details

Morphace Inc. is focused on advancing its wearable technology, which promotes skin cell remodeling through non-invasive electrodes on facial skin. The current project aims to enhance the device by introducing adjustable output settings, allowing users to customize the intensity of the stimulation according to their needs. Additionally, the project will involve implementing a sequential activation mechanism for the electrodes, optimizing the therapeutic process by targeting specific areas in a controlled manner. Another key aspect of the project is transitioning the device to a portable power source, increasing its usability and convenience for users on the go. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge in electronics, programming, and biomedical engineering to create a more versatile and user-friendly product.

This project has 3 key sub-tasks:

  1. Enable adjustable device output for personalized user experience.
  2. Implement sequential activation of electrodes for targeted therapy.
  3. Transition to a portable power source for enhanced mobility.
Deliverables

The project deliverables will include a prototype of the enhanced wearable device with adjustable output settings and sequential electrode activation. Additionally, a detailed report documenting the design process, testing results, and recommendations for further improvements will be required. The team will also provide a user manual outlining the new features and usage instructions.

There are 3 key deliverables:

  1. Prototype with adjustable output and sequential activation.
  2. Comprehensive design and testing report.
  3. User manual for the enhanced device.
