Details

We’re a tech start-up and eco-factory, working hard to launch our two catalogues. We have two product lines, one of giant 3d printers and other machines using plant-based plastics for ecological applications, and a second of thermoformed retail products in 100% recycled plastics from our factory, in Québec.

We’re looking for people to support the management team with our scale-up.

We’re focused on building long-term relationships.

Deliverables

In keeping with the Toronto School of Management: Business Management Curriculum, participants will help organize and manage tasks on activities including in strategy, marketing, project management, stakeholder relations, administration, and finance. Working as a team, participants will have a chance to work in each of these activities, and to specialize in areas of particular interest.

What we need from you is a willingness to face the multiple challenges of a day with a good attitude, transparency with regard to your observations and your reality, and attention to the values of the organization: quality, transparency, ecology. Training and practice for these will be provided.

Mentorship

1- Training: We practice a form of horizontal management that extends learning from multiple modules and in which participants will be trained. Other training will include basic cultural competency for relations with persons of Indigenous cultures, teleworking skills, and the opportunity to practice conversational French, if desired. Participants will also be invited to present their personal research projects, if they so choose (because we at Polyaula are curious, and we guess your colleagues will be, too!).

2- Participants can be virtual or local.

3- The group will be accompanied by two staff members experienced with management and supervision.

4- The participants will have a post-project debrief and ongoing support, including group and individual career counselling, business or technological consultation, or French conversational practice, if requested.

5- Each participant who completes the internship will receive 500 shares in the company.
