research fundraisingOur organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.
We would like to collaborate with students to develop a fundraising plan to meet our goals.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.
- Familiarizing themselves with our past fundraising activities and donors.
- Conducting background research on fundraising strategies.
- Recommending suitable fundraising strategies and creating a timeline / calendar of these activities.
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Assisting in implementing new fundraising activities.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Understanding of our mission, values and goals
- Understanding of our fundraising history
- Understanding of fundraising strategies used by similar organizations
- Creation of a fundraising plan
Bonus steps would include:
- Implementing new fundraising activities
Final deliverables should include
- A final report with a new fundraising plan.
- A 10 minute presentation.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our mission, values and goals
- Our previous fundraising activities
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
