The exhibition covers three gallery spaces , showcasing digital animation projections, and sculpture made by Elisabeth Belliveau. The project includes preparing artwork, documentation of work, studio maintenance, shipping and packing, material research and general studio operations leading up to the exhibition.
The student will assist in preparing work for upcoming exhibition, including packing and shipping work, cleaning work, sourcing materials, studio maintenance, documentation of work, file management, scanning documents, editing images, updating documents and possibly website updates.
Mentorship - this opportunity will share experience managing a contemporary art studio and preparing for an exhibition. This entails communications with artist and curators, caring for art objects, scheduling, managing timelines, material research and procurment, and exhibition practice methods. Mentorship would support the student in their professional development, and confidence in how to undertake their own studio and exhibition practice.
