Details

We would like students to help us develop a new website for our organization. Most of the content will be come from our previous website and recent Afrifursa Fintech Summit.

We're an organization that is focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders for equitable exchange; we’re building shared value between Canadian and African stakeholders to achieve a more just and sustainable future.

If you're passionate about exploring the exciting and impactful opportunities between Africa and Canada, then this is for you!

Deliverables

A fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy:

  • Create a design proposal including wireframes or low-fidelity mockups for our company's review.
  • Refine the current website, add new pages, create functionalities associated with events (ticketing, livestreaming, etc.)
  • Update and maintain the site - adding new content, etc.
  • Provide training to other Afrifursa staff on updating and maintaining the site as necessary
Mentorship
  • Onboarding session
  • One weekly check-in meeting
  • Adhoc meetings when requested by the student
  • Regular email correspondence
