At BGC we help start ups and accelerating companies get to the next level with grants.  Want to work with a tech company solving the housing crisis in Canada?  We do that.  What about a medtech company providing healthcare in the language of immigrants around the world?  Yep - another Canadian Company we love.

We are looking for teammates to come into our little start up and make a difference.

The goal of this project is to create a comprehensive database of all business grants in Canada as there is not one.  That is right - there is not one central system and in order to help as many businesses as possible we need to create one.

The database will include information on grant type, eligibility requirements, application deadlines, and contact information for each grant. The database will be an important resource for businesses across Canada, particularly small businesses, who may not have the resources to dedicate to researching available grants.

Tasks include the following:

1. Research and compile a list of all business grants available in Canada.
2. Verify eligibility requirements for each grant.
3. Compile all relevant information for each grant, including application deadlines and contact information.
4. Create and maintain a user-friendly database.
5. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the database by regularly updating information.

We will provide access to mentoring, daily check ins, weekly team huddles aswell as access to the database we have created thus far.
