Details

We would like students to help us with creating digital content in the form of articles, blogs and case studies which showcase the value of our company mission, problems we are tackling, and products and solutions we offer.

Content will be leveraged to educate and engage consumers around Terra Optima Labs' sustainable soil products, which are all natural and derived from local food waste. These will provide context and deeper insights into the social and environmental challenges our company aims to address such as sustainable food systems & agriculture, soil degradation, carbon emissions, and food insecurity.

You will be researching a topic in depth to generate an educational resource listed on our website, content which will be used for social media engagement, and provide context for additional collateral and content in Terra Optima's marketing and education toolbox.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Research a topic (discussed prior to commencement) relevant to Terra Optima's educational and marketing goals
  • Generate a research findings review with sources, stats & figures, long-form and short-form descriptions and visual tools (images, charts, infographics)
  • Create a piece of publishable content to be posted on our website (research article, blog-style writing or case study)
  • Derive "bite-sized" educational content from this research and published content which can be segmented for social media posts and educational use (ex. slide shows, school teaching kits, brochures...)
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include progress meeting(s) throughout the research stage to help with pivots, alignment and goal clarification.

The project manager will share relevant research tools and existing data/research on topics with the students work help enable better efficiency and integrate with their efforts.

The project manager will also mentor and provide context for how project deliverables will be executed, to help students in future marketing, education and content creation roles (ex. creating a social media post, preparing content for website publishing...)
