Details

Our company has dozens of volunteers with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We want to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued.

We would like to collaborate with students to create a diversity and inclusion strategy.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Identifying areas for improvement based on our diversity audit data.
  • Defining diversity goals and objectives for our company.
  • Considering new diversity and inclusion training initiatives.
  • Recommending ways to communicate diversity and inclusion initiatives to employees.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending a timeline for evaluating our diversity and inclusion strategy.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Identification of areas for improvement in diversity and inclusion
  • Definition of diversity goals and objectives
  • Consideration for new diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Recommendations for communicating initiatives to employees

Bonus steps would include:

  • Recommending a timeline for evaluating the strategy

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A presentation to the board.
  • Posters about diversity and inclusion in the workspace.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our human resources initiatives
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
